For those who like to boat or camp, Kittatinny is one of the finest and most popular rafting, conoeing, and camping areas of the Poconos - Pocono Mountains region. A great place to have pizza and Italian food would be Guiseppe's Pizza. Large portions as well. Another campground in the area to check out would be Ken's Woods Campground. Some falls include; Childs Picnic Area, near Kittatinny Rafting, Canoeing, and Paintball. Three beautiful falls and hiking trails. Go Whitewater rafting and enjoy an outdoor picnic; Raymondskill Falls, Dingmans Ferry in the Delaware Water Gap National Park; Resica Falls, One of the most scenic of Pocono Waterfalls, Resica Falls is wonderful for picnics. Excellent public trout fly fishing can be found along six miles of the Big Bushkill Creek. The Resica Falls Museum which is located on the adjacent Boy Scout reservation displays the 19th century blacknery village folklore and local indian artifacts which go back to 500BC. |
