Many restaurants, local shopping and fetures one of the areas fun family attractions, Claws "N" Paws Wild Animal Zoo The favorite place to stay in the area is the Comfort Inn. For the best barbacue spare ribs and chicken in about a 25 mile radius ormore be sure to stop in on the weekends and Kundla's just across from Weis Supermarket. The also have great fresh corn, Kosher picklers, etc. There are several local places that try to imatate them, but these are the best. Just across the street at Weis Supermarket you will find a Fun Guide Rack where you can pick up information about the areas leading attractions. Near by places to eat include Al's Family Restaurant, Grandpops Pizza, and John's Italian Pizza Hamlin is quite near Scranton which features many exciting attractions such as Steamtown National Historic Site and the Houdini Museum. |
